CXOToday Spotlight on Mental Health and Wellbeing

mental health

The pandemic has taken a toll on our mental health. In the last one year or so, people across the world are grappling with not just the fear of infection, but also the loss of their loved ones, financial stress, isolation and fatigue from constant uncertainty. Even though vaccines started to roll out, we are away from writing COVID-19 off just yet. Worse, we are only now beginning to see the long-lasting effects of the pandemic, specifically its dramatic impact on the mental health crisis.

Research from Harvey Nash has revealed that 75% more tech workers are presently concerned about the state of their mental health compared to before the pandemic. Measures from various companies and availability of helpline and other support to keep mental stress at bay are indeed encouraging. But there’s a long way to go to return to normalcy.

As May, the Mental Health Awareness month draws to a close, this is an opportune moment to take stock, and consider what lies ahead, at CXOToday we present before you 10 select articles, blogs, interviews and research reports we’ve published on this topic.
