Swaarm, a Berlin-based SaaS company, focused on performance-based tracking and optimization, is expanding its global reach. The company also sees a strong potential in the India market.

david freiThe company also announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, David Frei, an expert in technology sales, who is responsible for expanding global businesses into new territories and markets, to help drive Swaarm’s growth rapidly.

“We are following a global sales approach as our customers are operating on a global scale, too. India for sure is an important market for us given the many tech savvy affiliate marketing networks that are operating from India,” Frei, who has most recently served as Senior Manager of Business Development at HERE Technologies, told CXOToday.

“The biggest need that we have identified in the market is the lack of a tracking solution that allows customers to scale their business with the power of automation while being affordable at the same time. We aim to become the logical choice for every affiliate marketer who wants to get rid of manual processes and rather focus on the actual value creation,” he said.

“The Swaarm founding team has built world-class performance-based tracking and optimization technology that offers the best value for money platform in the market, and our first clients are already seeing success. My goal moving forward is to bring Swaarm to the global market to enable more and more clients to benefit from the power of automation and to help them make each action simpler, faster and better,” he continued.

Founded by technocrats Yogeeta Chainani and Alexandru Dumitru, Swaarm was created with the underlying principles of simplicity, affordability and collaboration. The cloud company caters to the needs of both individual marketers who can navigate through tons of data with a few clicks and data savvy enterprises that can use the integrated data science tools to deep dive into the granularities.

In November, Swaarm has secured €800,000 seed funding to expand its work on performance-based tracking. The seed funding round was led by Ilona van Megen and Rudolf van Megen, supervisory board members of data and software testing firm DE-CIX Group AG.

Yogeeta Chainani, co-founder and chief product officer at Swaarm, said: “As performance marketing has grown in size and adoption among networks and partners, it has also become vastly more complex.”

Unlocking the value of data, Swaarm is a unified solution, with which the company aims to solve some of the industry’s biggest problems of scaling businesses. While current market offerings only provide limited data insights, still require substantial manual work processes, and come with inefficient pricing models, Swaarm was built to overcome these pain points. The platform allows companies to make data-driven decisions and scale their business at a better price point by offering the highest level of automation.

Chainani believes that is an exciting time for our business with market-leading technology, eager clientele and highly supportive investors. We are delighted David has joined our team to help us rapidly grow our business and, of course, to further develop our platform to serve our clients in a superior way.”

The company is now banking on Frei’s expertise in global market expansion and building high-growth, high-scale teams. As Chainani believes,  Frei who started his professional career as a consultant at the leading global consultancy Roland Berger, successfully managing projects for global companies, would understand how to work closely with global companies across numerous verticals and this makes him ideally suited to accelerate our business during these times of significant growth and change.
