Advancement in AI is happening at a rapid pace and the Indian tech industry is getting rapidly transformed with adoption of AI, Blockchain and Cloud adoption. AI first and Cloud ready solutions are part of any mainstream decision making process in a business. Some of the key trends we predicted earlier, for example, XAI, large language models, Generative AI are part of the solutions the technology industry is adopting. Considering the overall industry trends and momentum towards achieving increasing automation driven by AI, we see following trends almost all tech companies are working on.

Generative AI – Ever since ChatGPT was released there has not been a day where we have not seen news of new innovation taking place. Generative AI has added a tremendous impetus and topmost priority in any CXO’s list to use this disruptive technology for putting into good use, use it as enabler or being challenged. Generative AI has brought in the ability to fill the crucial gaps for some hard to replace HIL (Human in loop) based systems.

AI at Scale with MLOps – AI at Scale is a natural progression towards achieving a higher maturity level for AI adoption. As we see more and more AI driven process automation being adopted, there are more needs to manage the large repository of AI models themselves in an intelligent and effective way. This is where we see MLOps tools and processes becoming an essential thing. Data curation, pre-processing, model training and validation of AI models and managing deployment for production at scale is a data science challenge which is getting more attention and trend is only increasing.

No Code Low Code (NoLo) ML or NoLo ML – Data science works best and is most successful when with the right mix of domain knowledge (or ‘tribal knowledge’ as many prefer to call).   But one of the key challenges is, domain experts are put off with the complex processes which only a Data scientist can muster. NoLo ML is an approach to simplify the use of machine learning or AI, creating a platform to build and use AI models in the application so that we can bring more citizen developers to use AI.  NoLo ML movement will see growth as we are already seeing good adoption in certain segments like BFSI. Enterprise cloud service providers like Amazon, IBM are already building NoLo ML services into their platform and simplifying the building and use of AI into enterprise applications. -Biswajit Biswas, Chief Data Scientist, Tata Elxsi

On National Technology Day, we are reminded of the transformative power of innovation and its ability to shape our lives meaningfully. Technology at its best is a high-impact growth accelerator. It increases efficiency, creates new possibilities, and makes our world better. In terms of crypto and its underlying blockchain technology, we are already seeing this play out via the ongoing Web3 pivot.

Today, companies and governments are harnessing the power of blockchain to create secure and transparent systems across various industries. Blockchain technology can potentially revolutionise how we conduct business, store data, and even vote. In the coming years, we can expect to see a boom in the real-world utility of this technology and yield its benefits.

Even at CoinSwitch, we are constantly innovating and exploring new ways to leverage technology at large to better serve our customers. As we celebrate National Technology Day, we look forward to the many possibilities the future holds.

Mr. Kapil Kapoor, Chief Product and Technology officer at CredAble

“Technology continuously drives change, with developments in the Metaverse and generative AI leading the way. These new technologies have enabled businesses to create and improve offerings, enhance productivity, and contribute to the well-being of humanity. The cloud and 5G have boosted computing power and network connectivity, defining the digital era’s scale and speed.

Advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, and biometrics, are transforming the financial services industry, allowing FinTechs to drive greater efficiency and create more value. By adopting digital operating models, FinTechs can achieve greater agility and precision in risk assessment, overcome implementation hurdles, and build solutions that offer last-mile delivery, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance. FinTech start-ups and financial institutions are investing heavily in technology, particularly in customer onboarding, underwriting, credit scoring, and loan disbursements.

As AI technology advances, business leaders should consider how their models can benefit from decentralised AI capabilities beyond 2023. Along with optimising efficiency, it’s important to establish reliable cloud infrastructure and integrate intelligence into technology stacks.”
