Can Metaverse actually be a substitute for Real World – come find out what Plutoverse Co-Founder, Prashant Sharma has to say about it

In this Exclusive interaction with Prashant Sharma let’s explore what is Plutoverse and how is it going to be different from other Metaverse Platforms? Also, his views on India being ready for Metaverse and the cyber security risk that come with it.
  1. Are Indian Consumers ready for the Metaverse?

A) As a country, we are one of the youngest, fastest growing and largest potential bases to use this technology, but, currently, we are at the developing phase of Metaverse adoption. The technological infrastructure needed for mammoth expansion is also at a very nascent stage of implementation. What is exciting to see is that a lot of Metaverse companies are progressing at breakneck pace, and the near future looks quite bright! Consumers will fully embrace the Metaverse sooner than later.

  1. Will Metaverse be a substitute for the real world?

A) We shouldn’t look at the Metaverse as a binary replacement for the real world. Software can never substitute reality, but it can definitely complement our real world. It can co-exist in a way where the Metaverse can be offered as a viable alternative to physical office spaces, it can streamline physical interactions, and it can also play a pivotal role in economic aspects. One thing that can happen is the Metaverse economy being as important as its real world counterpart.

  1. Will Metaverse bring new cyber risks? Is there any security framework available to protect Metaverse from malware?

A) With the advent of any new technological marvel, there are some risk factors involved, just like the real world, but if you had to summarize, the risks we face in the Metaverse won’t be entirely different from the risks we are facing in the digital world. Although there is a chance some risks may cause more concern over others, just like the risks, the security protocols will also be as robust and reliable as in the current systems.

  1. What is Plutoverse and how is it going to be different from other Metaverse Platforms?

A) Plutoverse is unique due to its core identity. This is an expansive universe where one can socialize with users who harbour similar interests, so making virtual friends becomes a much more customized and personal process. One can not only exchange data, but memorable moments and exciting events. Plutoverse encourages users to make this space their own and not just explore it casually.

  1. We heard you have recently received funding from various investors. Can you please tell us about the investors and the investments received? And how you plan to utilize this investment?

A) May it be Polygon co-founders Mr. Jaynti Kanani and Mr. Sandeep Nailwal, Tykhe Block Ventures founder Mr. Prashant Malik or OYO Global CSO Mr. Maninder Gulati, we have had absolute titans of various industries back our vision. With their trust and resources, the Plutoverse is further strengthened to explore the Metaverse in an in-depth, adventurous and invigorating way.
