Heyo phone is the new communication solution

CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Mr. Ankit Jain, Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Technical Officer, Heyo Phone

 

  • How did you come to the conclusion that SMBS had communication issues?

It started with facing the issue, went into market to find the solution and saw this problem prevalent. We did lot of customer talking before writing single line of code. We even sold this product to few customer just based on presentation. And we have had hundreds of paying customer at MVP stage.

So we were pretty much validating ourselves at every stage of journey as we didn’t want to build something which is not a problem for market. We always kept ourselves aligned by talking to customers more and more.

 

  • How difficult it is for small businesses to endure in this cutthroat industry – (Share your views on it?

Very difficult and every extra mile they try to do in customer service makes them sustain further. Lot small businesses start looking at reducing price to compete but we have seen over years, rather than reducing price, focus on great experience for customer.

 

  • What unique selling proposition (USP) sets Heyo apart from its rivals?

Heyo is simplest tool for customer engagement and is beyond anything in market. It’s instant, require no technical knowledge & gets integrated into business immediately. Setting up Heyo account takes less than 1 minutes.

 

  • Do you have any funding raised? Please provide information about the investors and the investments received. And how do you intend to use it?

Heyo is part of MyOperator which is leading Business Communcation platform and have been serving thousands of mid-large customers. MyOperator bootstrapped over years and build a comprehensive technology stack and we have utilized same to build Heyo.

We are now raising fund for Heyo as the growth trajectory is very different and phenomenal.

 

  • What goals and missions guided the establishment of the company (if any, how do you intend to move forward with them)? Briefly describe your experiences since the company’s founding.

We want to help million businesses do better sales & customer service with power of technology & tools.

We have constantly innovating to democratize complex business tools & systems by reimagining it for small businesses. It need out of box thinking and reimagining the problems from a different perspective.

 

  • What future plans do you have for Heyo and its facilities? (product)

We have just started and at a tip of what we want to deliver. There are so much to be done. Ultimately everything we would do would enable small businesses to with technology. With more more power from data and AI we would focus on delivering AI driven customer engagement opportunity even to small businesses.

 

  • Can you help us understand the technology used behind your product?

It’s a amalgamation of multiple technology and years of effort innovating in the space which lead us to it. Think of it telecommunications with power of cloud and integrating WhatsApp & Artificial intelligence.

It take much more to make something simple and we have built simplest communication tech for small business.
