CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Ms. Nikita Harisinghani, Co-founder – Chrome Hospitality.

 

  1. Tell us a little about yourself and your Company?

My name is Nikita Harisinghani, Co-founder of Chrome Hospitality, I am the one, who leads concept, design and marketing for Chrome Hospitality. In just 2 years of launch, me and my co-founders have been recognised across platforms for our work. Just recently, Chrome Hospitality won big and was awarded the ‘Times Iconic Restaurateurs Of The Year 2022’ award along with ‘Times Best Design Restaurant Of The Year 2022’ for their restaurant – Eve, Powai.

Our company Chrome Hospitality is one of the front runners in the experiential millennial led F&B companies in the country today. We run & operate 6 restaurants in Mumbai including Eve, Blah, Donna Deli, Shy & Demy. We also consult luxury restaurants PAN INDIA all the way from set-up to success. We’ve consulted over 50 restaurants over the last few years.

 

  1. How has technology helped align your Hospitality business?

Technology has had a significant impact on the hospitality business, transforming the way restaurants operate, communicate, and interact with customers. From online reservation systems to modern POS setups, digital menus and real time ordering softwares, technology has been and will always be a very integral part in the Hospitality business.

 

  1. What are the experiential values that Chrome Hospitality is adding to the Hospitality sector in India?

At Chrome, we put a lot of emphasis on ensuring that the customer experience is paramount. From the restaurant’s decor, lighting, music, food, service, overall vibe, everything is meticulously looked into. We’ve always tried to push the bar higher, with launching new concepts and experiences new to the city.

 

  1. What are the tools, knowledge and expertise used by Chrome Asia that possess the Indian Cuisine landscape and bring around a tangible difference?

Overall, the knowledge and expertise required by a hospitality company are diverse and requires a broad range of skills. From getting the right property to a great concept, to planning the cuisine and overall experience is where our expertise comes in.

 

  1. What is it like to be leading the concept and design & marketing for Chrome and please tell your journey throughout.

Leading the concept, design, and marketing efforts for a restaurant can be both challenging and rewarding. It requires a strong understanding of the target audience, an ability to develop creative and innovative ideas, and strong project management skills to bring those ideas to fruition.

One needs to have a deep understanding of the restaurant industry and the competitive landscape, as well as an ability to adapt to changing trends and consumer preferences.

 

  1. What is the next big chapter?

2023 is going to be an exciting year for Chrome. We will be launching our first boutique hotel in Goa in April 2023. We are also set to launch two more outlets of our

existing Brand Eve, at Santacruz and Worli. We’re also planning on opening two more new restaurant brands in Bandra this year.

 

  1. After such fruitful years, what are the next steps to become more prominent in today’s Hospitality industry?

We as a company strongly believe in consistency. It’s imperative to provide a great experience to every guest that walks in month after month. Going forward, we want to focus on sustainability, prioritize customer service, offer better services and invest a lot in digital media.
