Exterro hire top forensics and legal duo to spearhead EMEA drive for Legal GRC

Anna Urbani kick-starts newly created Director of Channel EMEA role alongside Nick Rich as Director of UK&I Corporate

Anna Urbani takes the helm as Director of Channel EMEA, with Nick Rich leading the sales team as Director of UK&I Corporate.

The duo bring almost 3 decades of experience to Exterro to mature, nurture and recruit channel partners and drive sales across the Legal GRC portfolio. Urbani will work alongside Ian Rainsborough, Regional Vice President Channels, in her newly established role to develop a channel-first strategy, reinvigorating existing partner relationships and recruiting more Partnerships across the EMEA region.

With Exterro’s aim to expand its reach in Legal GRC, Urbani’s 17 years in forensics and e-discovery will stand her in good stead as Exterro continues its growth across Europe, enabling and identifying partners that can address multiple areas of the business.

With numerous partners already re-signed under Anna’s steer, Exterro hopes to continue to push the importance of Legal GRC, fuelled by the rapidly changing regulatory landscape through provisions such as the GDPR, and the explosion of corporate data, requiring organisations to rethink information governance practices and look towards a new integrated strategy to meet data management obligations.

Additionally, Exterro intends to build on the success of its pioneering West Midlands Police (WMP) project that has drastically increased the speed to justice in UK Policing, revolutionising the way that digital evidence is handled and reviewed.

Additionally, Nick Rich will apply his wide experience helping corporates design e-discovery and privacy processes to inform the corporate sales approach to manage data privacy, ensuring Legal GRC is top of mind for GCs, CISOs, DPOs, and other stakeholders within highly regulated and litigious sectors, including financial services, healthcare, energy and construction, retail, and legal.
