ICT Academy collaborates with ServiceNow to empower Indian educators & students with Digital skills

The partnership aims at skilling more than 2,000 learners

ICT Academy, an initiative of the Information Technology and Digital Services Department, today announced its partnership with ServiceNow, a leading digital workflow company, to take its digital training and skills program to 1,000+ ICT Academy partner institutions to benefit more than 2,000 teachers and students in the next 24 months.

This partnership aims to drive skill initiatives among faculty and the students of member institutions. This initiative will help universities and autonomous colleges adopt ServiceNow platform skills as a part of the curriculum, educating the students, and creating a talent pipeline of ServiceNow certified professionals into ServiceNow ecosystem. As a part of this partnership, ICT Academy will organize outreach programs, certified instructor programs, faculty development programs, as well as student training and certification programs to make them job ready.

Mano Thangaraj, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu, said “ICT Academy has always strived to empower the students for the future of work. We welcome our partnership with ServiceNow in building new career path for students, address the digital skills gap and the talent shortages. This collaboration will play a crucial role in achieving our goal of making Tamil Nadu to transition to a technology-led and a competency-based skill developed state.
