TechnoBind Partners with ExaGrid to Provide Industry’s Only Tiered Backup Storage Solution to India IT Channel

TechnoBind, India’s leading specialist distributor for data and associated domains, announces its collaboration with ExaGrid, the industry’s only Tiered Backup Storage solution. ExaGrid’s award-winning Tiered Backup Storage provides customers with a unique disk-cache Landing Zone and scale-out architecture that provides the fastest backups, the fastest restores, and a fixed-length backup window as data grows.
“This is a crucial step in further strengthening our position in the market as a strong storage and backup player, helping partners address their customers’ challenges of managing their growing data. ExaGrid’s Tiered Backup Storage, an award-winning product for having the fastest backups, restores, and instant VM recoveries – is the key ask of the industry today in the digitally transformed customer environment.
ExaGrid also has one of the industry’s best Ransomware Recovery Solutions – having a non-network-facing repository tier with delayed delete capabilities and immutable data objects which we have seen as being the best in the industry. What this means to us at Technobind is that we are looking at a significant market opportunity for our reseller partners to help their customers manage this burgeoning ransomware problem.” said Prashanth GJ, CEO, at TechnoBind Solutions.
ExaGrid’s appliance models can be mixed and matched into a single scale-out system allowing a full backup of up to 2.7PB with a combined ingest rate of 488TB/hr, in a single system. The appliances automatically join the scale-out system. Each appliance includes the appropriate amount of processor, memory, disk, and bandwidth for the data size. By adding compute with capacity, the backup window remains fixed length as the data grows. Automatic load balancing across all repositories allows full utilization of all appliances. Data is deduplicated into an offline repository and additionally data is globally deduplicated across all repositories. This combination of capabilities in a turnkey appliance makes the ExaGrid system easy to install, manage, and scale. ExaGrid’s architecture provides lifetime value and investment protection that no other architecture can match.
“We are proud that our Tiered Backup Storage solution will now be experienced by many new global enterprises. Our collaboration with TechnoBind’s distinctive philosophy of distribution, will undoubtedly lead to a business relationship that benefits both parties and strengthen our presence in the Indian market. We are confident that TechnoBind will be a strong partner in our endeavour to establish ExaGrid as a leader in the Backup Storage Solution space in India,” said Bill Andrews, CEO and President of ExaGrid.
