NetApp recently unveiled a new Data Visionary Engineering Center (DVEC) at its Bengaluru campus. The DVEC is likely to empower Asia-Pacific customers and partners to transform the world with data. Customers and partners celebrated the grand opening of the APAC DVEC in Bangalore, while those in the U.S. attended the concurrent grand opening of NetApp’s Data Visionary Center in Sunnyvale, California.

Located within the NetApp Global Center of Excellence in the Bangalore campus in Hoodi, Whitefield, the new APAC DVEC offers an interactive, high-touch experience to its customers and partners. Further extending NetApp’s ability to support customers and partners embarking on digital transformation across Asia, the Bangalore DVEC joins three other DVC centers in Sunnyvale, California; Triangle Park, North Carolina; and the European headquarters in Amsterdam.

Digital transformation remains top of mind for executives: leaders must become data visionaries in order to transform their organizations, create new customer touchpoints, innovate to take advantage of market opportunities and optimize operations. The NetApp DVEC allows data visionaries to experience NetApp’s latest products and services in a real-time problem-solving scenario.

“Data-driven digital transformation accelerates business outcomes,” said Anil Valluri, president, NetApp India and SAARC. “The DVEC will offer clarity to customers and partners looking to learn more about industry trends, flash storage, hybrid cloud, and other data center IT technologies.”

According to the company, DVEC bridges the gap between business and IT. This is the place where companies discuss robust solutions that aid transformation, accelerate growth, and reduce costs. Companies have access to customized sessions on topics tailored to specific concerns and needs of the business, such as the need for cloud-ready workflows or methods to modernize storage through data management.

“We offer a focused portfolio of innovative solutions that simplifies the increasingly complex world of enterprise IT,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president & managing director, NetApp India. “Through this new facility, customers in India can now embrace the opportunities presented by new technologies – such as flash storage and hybrid cloud – with the confidence that comes from our 25-year legacy of managing data.”

The NetApp Data Fabric simplifies the integration and orchestration of data for applications and analytics in clouds, across clouds and on-premises to accelerate digital transformation. Only NetApp can deliver a Data Fabric with consistent data services for data visibility and insights, data access and control, and data protection and security.
