NEET 2019 To-Do List: From Application Form To Result

To-Do List

NEET 2019 is finally decided to be held once in a year through offline mode by the Education Ministry. NEET is a national level medical entrance exam conducted to offer admission into MBBS/BDS medical programmes. Qualifying candidates can take admission in various DCI and MCI approved medical and dental colleges.

In the month of July 2018, the HRD minister decided to conduct the NEET entrance test twice in a year by online CBT mode. However, the health ministry pointed out certain issues regarding the decision which in turn made the HRD minister to re-take the decision after considering the issues.

The Health ministry discussed the disadvantages of conducting the exam twice in a year through online mode. According to the ministry, conduction of NEET exam by online mode will be disadvantage for the poor candidates living in the rural areas of the country. Also, the conduction of the exam twice in a year will only put an extra pressure on the students preparing for their Class 12th board exams. Considering these major issues, the HRD minister finally decided to conduct NEET 2019 by pen and paper mode and only once in a year.

The authority of NTA has decided to conduct the entrance test of NEET 2019 on 5th May 2019. The application form will be made available to the candidates from 1st November 2018. Last date to apply for the application form is 30th November 2018. After the successful registration, candidates can download their admit cards on 15th April 2019.

To download the admit card, candidates have to enter their registered username and password. The entrance test of NEET 2019 will be held in single session only. The results of NEET 2019 will be declared on 5th June 2019.
