- Could you please elaborate on Teachmint’s latest technology offerings?
The Integrated School Platform, the flagship product of Teachmint, is revolutionizing the education infrastructure space with grassroots digitization. With its one-stop school digitization solution, the ISP empowers every stakeholder at a school with advanced administrator tools, a modern learning management system, premium learning content, and a unique all-in-one fee payment solution.
- How was the infrastructure for Teachmint built and how has it evolved?
Teachmint introduced a software-as-a-service (SaaS) in 2020 that was mainly designed with mobile devices in mind and offered teachers a complete end-to-end platform. This system provided teachers the facilities to organize assignments, keep track of attendance, conduct courses, and more. However, we also understood that online learning alone cannot lead to the digitization of our educational ecosystem.
Therefore, we changed our direction and placed the focus that was derived from our energy entirely on creating the Integrated School Platform (ISP). The ISP offers a comprehensive suite of tools that empowers all stakeholders within a school. This tactical move expanded our ambition to empower the existing education ecosystem with technology, thus addressing the requirements of every stakeholder.
- What are some innovation projects that the technology teams are currently working on that are also enhancing customer experience and driving growth outcomes?
Our plans for the future call for us to keep working towards our objective of increasing the influence of education by following through efficiency, performance, and information parity through our technology.
In pursuit of this goal, we recently unveiled TeachPay, a verticalized fintech solution for education that offers schools an efficient and productive way to regulate their fee collection. With TeachPay, school administrators gain comprehensive visibility of their institute’s cash flow without the burden of manual groups. Two vital components of this solution are TeachPay Credit and TeachPay Auto, which cover end-to-end fee management.
Teachmint is an education system that includes front-office management, back-office automation, academics management, and learning management. We will continue to work on developing as the operating system for education over the coming several years, powering a substantial part of the educational ecosystem in India and even other rising economies.
- What are some projects that you, as the technology leader, are looking forward to and any use cases of emerging technologies that you can share?
Teachmint has been continuously working to reinvent learning and outcomes by utilizing the power of technology, from developing the free teacher application to even building the Integrated School Platform. Additional features are being developed by our teams for both domestic and international markets, and they will soon be set up and made available everywhere.
- Cybersecurity has become a critical function for companies. How is Teachmint dealing with safeguarding customer data?
Teachmint is an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified company that recognizes the importance of cybersecurity and the protection of customer data.
As per our security policy, we must continuously assess the danger of a threat to the administrative, technical, and physical measures. Based on continuing the risk assessments, these protections are periodically examined and improved. We pledge to abide by all applicable data protection laws and standards set forth by our sector.
- What is your advice to younger techies entering the workforce today?
Unquestionably, valuable skills, abilities, and expertise can be learned through practice and experience. But at the same time, it is equally significant to stress the expansion of empathy for claims about real-world problems and nurture a sincere motivation for fixing them.
