HaiVE launches India’s first state-of-the-art on-campus AI Lab at St. Joseph College of Engineering

HaiVE, a pioneering force in the AI industry, today announced that it is set to power India’s first AI lab at St. Joseph College of Engineering, Chennai. This groundbreaking initiative, in collaboration with their Ed-Tech partner Terv, represents a significant step forward in fostering innovation and growth within the AI community, both nationally and internationally.

The AI lab has already garnered attention across the globe, receiving numerous applications from aspiring AI startups. Offering unparalleled technological infrastructure and support, HaiVE’s initiative provides a state-of-the-art setup with an exceptional 10Gbps connectivity, housing dedicated on-premise AI servers with A-100 cards, enabling faster turnaround times to facilitate bringing innovations to the market swiftly. Further, the holistic support system entails managed workspaces in a 32,000 sq. ft. laboratory area. The collaboration with St. Joseph College allows startups to access a refined talent pool, including short-term interns and long-term Ph.D. researchers that will receive the opportunity to be absorbed as employees. The AI lab has already produced startups that are quickly gaining traction, and one such startup operating in the AI Generated Content is on track to get funded in September.

Speaking about this partnership, CEO of HaiVE, Deepika expressed her enthusiasm and vision. “As a core AI startup, we faced a lot of issues with seamless hardware access, and once we got to a place where we could work with similar-minded partners, we set out to create this accelerator.
