SIDBI in co-ordination with the Department for Promotion of Industry, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has organized a Start Up Outreach Program “Prarambh 2022” joining hands with AIC-PRESTIGE Incubation Center/ Atal Innovation Mission at Indore on December 07, 2022. The outreach event was aimed to bridge gap between the AIF and Startups and promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship in the Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities.
Around 150 startups, 12 incubators were registered in the event. Panel discussions on various topics, including on “Raising you first cheque” were organized. Further, a Pitching session was also organized where 10 Startups selected through an open competition were allowed to pitch their business proposals to prominent Venture Capitalists. Eminent Venture Capital Funds from various parts of India, viz. Blume Ventures, Omnivore Partners, Venture Catalysts, Anicut Capital, etc participated in the program
AIC-Prestige was represented by Shri Sanjeev Patni, CEO of AIC-Prestige and Shri Davish Jain, Chairman Prestige Group who provided insight to the Start Up ecosystem of Indore. Further, Dr. Chintan Vaishnav (Mission Director Atal innovation Mission NITI aayog) addressed participants through video link.

Fund of Funds for Startups Scheme (FFS): Under Startup India Programme, Government of India has established Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) with a corpus of Rs.10,000 crore with DPIIT, Government of India as the monitoring agency and SIDBI as the operating agency for FFS.
