  1. In a competitive marketplace, what USPs set Fitshot apart from the rest, and where are they set in stone in your vision?

Ans: Fitshot is a lifestyle accessory brand with which people are proud to be associated. Unlike others in the industry, we do not claim to be India’s #1 but we are totally making strides in that direction. We like to keep things light-hearted, but we take our work very seriously. We are deeply committed to providing the users with the best smartwatches, and we have worked very hard to put together a customer service team that is always available for them. To think about it, we might have the best customer support system out there, and we are proud of it. Our mission is to make smart fitness available to everyone; to anyone who desires a better self and a better world.   1. Fitshot has SoloSync™ Technology would you like to brief about it?

Ans: We are the first company to introduce this technology to India. It makes connecting the Fitshot smartwatch to your smartphone a breeze. The majority of Bluetooth calling watches on the market today have two Bluetooth chips – one for Bluetooth connection and the other for the calling function, which is difficult to pair, has connectivity issues, and consumes too much battery. Unlike other brands’ smartwatches, Fitshot has a single chipset, which makes pairing with a mobile device easier, consumes less battery power, and provides seamless connectivity. All that is required is to connect/pair the Fitshot smartwatch once, allow the permissions when prompted, and get started! There is no need for any additional manual pairing.

 

  1. What has been your biggest challenge setting up the business in the Indian market?

Ans: Smartwatches present unique challenges, particularly in India’s price-sensitive and dense market. Brands must strike a balance between functionality and style-conscious design in order to meet the needs of their customers. A smartwatch also has complex circuit configurations due to the integration of various devices such as sensors, displays, and others into a small compact device. As a result, a lot of R&D must be done with precision. Not to miss, many smartwatch brands in India now sell similar smartwatches. To differentiate ourselves, Fitshot offers additional benefits to customers so that our brand is their first choice.

 

  1. What are your thoughts on smart wearables for the Indian market?

Ans: According to new research, the smartwatch market in India more than quadrupled in Q2 2022, driven by rising consumer interest in smartwatches as an accessory and fitness trackers. The Indian wearable devices market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26.33%, reaching a sales volume of 16.22 million units by 2024, up from 4.72 million in 2019. In the June quarter, India’s smartwatch market grew by 312%. Because there is a high demand for smart wearables in the market, and it is expected to rise further, we are preparing accordingly. We are planning to launch 3 new smartwatches in the last quarter of this year with new aesthetics. Customers are looking for more options in round calling smartwatches, we are planning to cater that market.

 

  1. Is this brand particularly sacred for Gen Z? If yes, why?

Ans: Yes, our brand is aimed squarely at millennials and Generation Z. As a lifestyle accessories brand, our goal is to seamlessly blend into and complement our customers’ modern lifestyles. Aesthetics are important in the lives of Generation Z, and many surveys show that these customers prioritize aesthetics over functionalities when purchasing a smartwatch.
